Sweet Potato

Sweet potatoes are a tropical plant and grow best between 85-95 degrees F and continue growing above 100 F. Sweet potatoes grow (are propagated) from other sweet potato pieces called “slips”. Sweet potatoes take 90-120 days of warm, frost-free weather to grow. North Carolina produces 45% of all sweet potatoes in the US.

We have a custom specification of Verified RescuedTM Full Harvest Innovative Grade sweet potatoes; they are non-washed, field packed, and a great opportunity to source produce sustainably.

WHAT IS FULL HARVEST INNOVATIVE GRADE?

Full Harvest's Innovative Grade produce includes custom specification tolerances outside of a traditional retail grade. These unique Full Harvest products are developed in partnership with our suppliers by capturing perfectly edible produce but is typically wasted during harvest - simply because it is not part of a traditional retailer specification. One of our most sustainable offerings, the majority of Full Harvest Innovative Grade products are Verified RescuedTM pending marketing conditions.  An audit is required before environmental benefit claims can be made. Please review these specifications closely in the marketplace to ensure the product will meet your production needs.
