LEMON

Lemon supply is expected to remain strong for another six weeks or so before starting to reduce. You can expect a gap in supply from the end of June through July. We recommend purchasing now if you have the ability to buy in bulk while prices are good and then freeze to last you through the gap. The Mexican season will get started at the end of July or early August. Reach out to your rep now if you are interested in locking in contract pricing for the Fall. See Lemon availability.

ORANGE

California Navels are finishing up now and will transition to Valencias over the next few weeks. Valencias will then be available out of Mexico and California for about a month. Mexican organic Valencias will end the first week of June, while conventional will be available through the last week of June. See Orange availability.

GINGER

The ginger market is still tight as we are in the low season with limited availability. You can expect availability to pick up in July. Out of Miami, supplies are tightening as less product has been shipped out of Peru, and prices are expected to rise. There is Mexican product available on The Marketplace, but it will need about a 7-day lead time. There is also product from Peru available, organic and conventional, that requires at least a 3-week lead time for large volumes. See Ginger availability.
