Lemon

Lemon, Citrus limon, are thought to have first grown in Assam (a region in northeast India), northern Burma or China. A genomic study of the lemon indicated it was a hybrid between bitter orange (sour orange) and citron. Mexico is the largest global producer of lemons at 2.6M lbs annually.

With a relatively small acreage, there are not a lot of secondary uses for ugly Meyer lemons. Purchasing our FH Innovative Grade Meyer lemons will reduce on-farm food loss, but read the spec closely as they are mixed size and condition.

WHAT IS FULL HARVEST INNOVATIVE GRADE?

Full Harvest's Innovative Grade produce includes custom specification tolerances outside of a traditional retail grade. These unique Full Harvest products are developed in partnership with our suppliers by capturing perfectly edible produce but is typically wasted during harvest - simply because it is not part of a traditional retailer specification. One of our most sustainable offerings, the majority of Full Harvest Innovative Grade products are Verified RescuedTM pending marketing conditions.  An audit is required before environmental benefit claims can be made. Please review these specifications closely in the marketplace to ensure the product will meet your production needs
