Grown for its succulent stalks or petioles, celery, Apium graveolens, dates as far back as 850 B.C. and was cultivated not for its culinary use, but its medicinal purposes. In the United States, green stalk celery is the usual choice and used both raw and cooked. Celery is a cool-season biennial that grows best from 60F to 65F, but will tolerate temperatures from 45F to 75F.
We have two custom Full Harvest Innovative grades on celery based on if you need whole plants or outer petioles (stalks).

These unique Full Harvest products are developed in partnership with our suppliers by capturing perfectly edible produce but is typically wasted during harvest - simply because it is not part of a traditional retailer specification. One of our most sustainable offerings, the majority of Full Harvest Innovative Grade products are Verified RescuedTM pending marketing conditions.
